Following a rumour in a tweet, the remake of the Final Fantasy VII title could arrive free to the Playstation Plus collection

Although the comment of the tweet could have remained there, it seems that some sources confirm it, as is the case of Resetera where some of the writers, as well as community moderators have confirmed that it is true.
The announcement of the free games should have been made yesterday but we are still waiting for Sony to confirm the games that will be present for subscribers during the month of March. It is quite possible that the games will be announced this last night during the State of Play where the news will be announced for PS4 and PS5 users for next year.
