Kojima and Guillermo del Toro confirm their assistance to The Game Awards

The annual edition of the Game Awards that will award the prizes to the best games of the year 2017 will have two exceptional guests: Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro. Both characters are closely related to the new title that Kojima is developing: Death Stranding. Will it be one of the surprises of the event? At the moment we know the nominees for the games of the year 2017 in all its categories.

Several tweets published by the organizers of the event confirm the attendance of Kojima and Guillermo del Toro. The assistance of both could promote the appearance of images of the title, some new trailer of the game or statements about when the date of the game's launch will be placed.

After the great controversy generated by the departure of Konami's Kojima and the broken finish of Metal Gear Solid V by the Japanese, Death Stranding is positioned as one of the most anticipated titles of the current landscape of video games. The title will use technology developed by Guerrilla Games for Horizon: Zero Dawn and has full support from Sony.

The appearance of new images of the title or any reference to it will be an incentive for the viewing of the event that will be retransmitted through the internet on December 7th. Watch the Game Awards Show Live.
