October is right here. Check the games chosen as possible free games in Playstation Plus.

Many were surprised last month when Sony announced the free Playstation Plus games that were available: inFAMOUS: Second Son and Child of Light. Both games have great quality and everything points that Sony will continue to offer these types of free video games through its Playstation Plus subscriber program.

Several years have passed since Playstation 4 launch and step by step we see that the games available in PS Plus have better quality or have obtained enough more sales. Remember that the best time of Playstation Plus on Playstation 3 took place when that generation of consoles came to an end. This does not mean that the current generation is coming to an end, but we do see how the time is passing and some games are being forgotten and one of the opportunities that have the producers is to rescue them in order to make some cash through its additional payment contents. On the other hand, the PS Plus price rise in August leads to the belief that the quality of the free monthly games offered through Playstation Plus will improve and is that one of Sony's needs is to try to keep its subscriber quota high.

According to this, we let you know the games that we believe that for some reasons or others will be available this month, October 2017 in Playstation Plus. Some of the titles are relatively old and others not so much, but most of them have seen their price decrease in relation to their lifetime and have even been available at very low prices on other platforms.

Alien Isolation

Developed by The Creative Assembly , Alien Isolation launched three years ago and it is one of the best horror games in this generation without doubt. Having those wonderful environments and a great gameplay experience, Alien Isolation was a great surprise for all the Alien saga lovers and in general for the horror genre fans. The need to escape from the Xenomorph claws makes the player keep under pressure continuosly to survive.

Alien Isolation is a title that due to its longevity or due to the times it has been on sale in the Playstation Store wouldn't be a surprise to find it in next month PS Plus free games. On the other hand, some weeks ago, Humble Bundle launched a bundle that gives you the chance to get Alien Isolation in a very cheap price for the PC platform.

Due to these reasons and the because we want to see this title in the Playstation Plus free games to let more players enjoy it, we decided to choose it for this list of possible games for October.

Evolve

Possibly one of the titles that we like less to see in this list is Evolve. The game who promised to be one of the referents of the generation ended up being a forgotten game and also hated in some ways due to the amount of downloadable content that was offered to the players. The game developed by Turtle Rock Studios (owned by Valve) ended up among the free games on Steam and for this reason we think it could be one of the free games of the month of October in PS Plus.

The game is based on offering multiplayer games in which one of the players takes control of a creature that must survive and annihilate a group of four other players. The creatures and the scenarios are changing game after game. You know these kind of games, there are several titles in this genre that had quite success before.

Due to the lack of players online, its free launch in other platforms and the existence of a large amount of downloadable content, we believe that Evolve could be one of the games that could appear soon on Playstation Plus and possibly during the next October 2017.

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Killzone: Shadow Fall is the fourth game in the Killzone saga started in Playstation One and was one of the premiere games at PS4 release. The game offers an action first-person adventure with a great graphic quality that takes advantage of the Playstation 4 hardware. At the PS4 launch it was one of the most talked about and possibly the most enjoyed titles offered by Sony at that time.

It has been several years since its release and because it has appeared among the Playstation Store sales several times, we believe it is time for Sony to decide to put Killzone: Shadow Fall available to PS Plus subscribers. In addition, with the launch last month of other PS4 release titles in the PS Plus program, inFAMOUS: Second Son, we believe that Killzone could be a very good candidate to appear on the October list or may be in a quite short future.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Black Flag is the first Assassin's Creed game in the current generation of consoles and in fact it is the oldest currently on consoles like Playstation 4. Following the release of Assassin's Creed: Unity and Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Ubisoft's title has survived with two subsequent releases on his back. In this release, we take the role of Edward Kenway, a pirate who ends up taking the role of an Assassin almost by mistake and will have to deal with the duty to block the Templars' plans.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag also includes one of the most interesting modes of the latest installments of Assassin's Creed, naval battles. In fact Ubisoft is currently developing a multiplayer title that only focuses on this type of battles.

On the other hand, the next game in the Assassin's Creed saga, Assassin's Creed: Origins, will launch next October. Also, taking into account the fact that Black Flag has already been in the PS Store's sales list several times, makes us think that it is the best time for Ubisoft to decide to put the game for free to Playstation Plus subscribers. On the one hand it would contribute to retake the saga for those who forgot it and on the other hand it will let Ubisoft to try to get potential buyers of the new Assassin's Creed game releasing in October.
