The Game Awards, gives the best games of the year awards, which is held this year in Anaheim (California), will feature many new features apart from the awards gala itself.

This year, titles like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Wolfenstein II, Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Persona 5 or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, will be measured in different categories of prizes for the best titles published during 2017. The Game Awards event can be watched live through this same page from 05.30 pm on Thursday 7 (Los Angeles time).

 

 

In addition, during the event will be a series of announcements as already happened in previous years where the most representative novelties of the world of video games will be shown. Different developers will be present to show the hottest news of the titles they are hoping to publish and whose fans are eager to see.

On the one hand, Hideo Kojima, Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus will be present at the The Game Awards event to present a new multimedia content of Death Stranding. It is expected that an official announcement about the title will also be made, such as an indicative date for its launch.

In addition, the new PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds map will also be present at the gala. A new desert map for the Steam version of the game that was relatively recently announced for Xbox One.

It is also expected the attendance of personalities such as Phil Spencer (director of Xbox), Reggie Fils-Aime (President of Nintendo of America) or Eric Hirshberg (CEO of Activision). In addition, companies such as Rockstar Games, Ubisoft, Valve WarnerBros Games will also be present at the event.
