El pasado domingo se dieron a conocer los ganadores de la decimo tercera edición este galardón
Los Golden Satellite Awards son los premios que otorga la Academia de Prensa Internacional, organización formada por prensa extranjera escindida de la famosa HFPA (la que otorga los Globos de Oro). Los nominados se reparten principalmente en dos secciones, Drama y Comedia/Musical, cada una de las cuales tiene categorías para películas y actores. Director, Guión y otros aspectos técnicos son comunes para ambas categorías. Y una particularidad: hay generalmente 6 nominados por categoría, pero están abiertas a posibles empates que añadan un séptimo, octavo o cuantos nominados adicionales sean necesarios.
